Sen No Yoru Wo Koete (Overcome the Thousands of Nights) – Bleach Movie : Memories of Nobody OST

Gosh, Im really into the emo-mode. Things have been pretty depressing and frustrating(uh,huh- as always) And I just indulge myself with jpop/ost music tripping to shake my distress away.

For Bleach fans, I recommend listening to Sen No Yoru Wo Koete from Bleach Anime Movie Soundtrack : Memories of Nobody, by Aqua Timez.

Here are my impressions, or I should say review of the song :

1. Instrumentals — The intro part of the song is noteworthy of its good keyboard arrangement. Im not a musician by profession though, but all I can say is you can immediately “feel” the emotion of the song by heart. The song boasts of its good guitars accompaniments too.
2. Vocals — gosh, I really love the vocals and the blending of the voices. Aqua Timez vocalist has a unique and good style of singing voice.
3. Song Arrangement — All in all ? The heck i really love it. One of the most beautiful OSTs Ive ever heared.
4. Theme/Lyrics — The first time I saw the english subtitles of the song at the end of the movie, it might appear that Ichigo had a romantic type of love to Senna, through the ff: lines :

“I want to be loved, but you don’t seem to love me

I wander within that repetition I found one answer;

that even if I’m scared,even if I’m hurt I can say

“I love you” to the person who I love ”

I refuse to believe that romantic love can possibly happen to the characters, since the manga from where Bleach was based from is originally of supernatural genre and friendship theme.
But what the heck! Who cares if the song is a love song or not? Whether the two characters had this untold love for each other? That if the song talks about romantic love, then it wont fit as Bleach’s  OST???  The song will successfully hit your emotions anyway 🙂
