Farewell To Thee, King : Just Another Michael Jackson Tribute

“If you enter this world knowing you are loved and you leave this world knowing the same, then everything that happens in between can be dealt with.” — Michael Jackson

The planet, once again has lost one of the most influential music geniuses — and more than a great music icon, — one of the most celebrated pop heroes to the world’s popular music artists.

Music artists — who in turn, write songs that talk about our lives ; and saves our rainy days and mondays; Songs that inspire us; Songs that have grown old along with passing generations through tough and good times; Songs that you, King MJ wrote for us, songs that you danced to in your brilliant performances. A rare amalgam of musical talent and genius, that might have only appeared once in a hundred years.

And for you leaving this world and off to another journey, we feel such great loss. It’s as if you could have lived longer and have so much to offer to the young and aspiring musicians and incoming generations ..

I hope that through this humble tribute I can express my admiration, gratitude and respect well to you, King MJ, the man of the hour.

MJ’s music during my younger years that Ive outgrown

I still remember our very old turntable stereo ( a vintage stereo system that was popular during 1970s) playing mj’s songs including those in Jackson 5 era. The playback system that time used 33 rpm 12″ and 45 rpm discs that were unbelievably huge compared to the CDs and DVDs we have nowadays.
The ever-famous turntable stereo from that 70’s era courtesy of my grandma’s heirloom

Here I listened to songs such as “Ben”, “Happy”, “Music And Me”, “Santa Claus is Coming To Town”, “I Saw Mommy’s Kissing Santa Claus” to name a few.

We had this album, Ah those good ol’ days, a 33 12″ lp disc album

I feel so very nostalgic that every christmas we used to play Jackson 5 Christmas Album songs every yuletide season. I still felt that little boy Michael in every song that really sounded so cute and dearly. What a precocious child at that age! Ive never felt so funny and happy back then immitating his super high-pitched voice! Ive never felt so childlike and gay during those moments.

~ The King’s Story of Life Told in an Open Book

Since I am not a judgmental person, Im not really into knowing every detail of knowing MJ’s personal life ~ Besides, Im the kind of person who only really keep to the course of  musician’s career, achievement and hit albums, and one of those is MJ’s.

Ive just recently known a few things by reading so many blogs, tributes and articles about him after he died.

Here are some facts about MJ Ive just recently known and what I think about them :

…That he hadn’t experienced ordinary childhood

— That he felt like crying everytime he sees children playing in their playground while he, had to spend his time rehearsing and working.

It’s as if for me, he was deprived of enjoying being young and growing old gradually, normally, and ordinarily during the entire course of his life. Work and the consequences of being high profile celebrity became his prison at such a young and tender age, and eventually in the later years of his life.

… That he wanted to have a child inspite of his medical condition

— After his divorce with Lisa Marie Priestly, he had this marriage of convenience with his nurse Debbie Rowe. Bearing a child is possible through artificial semination.

In my opinion, King MJ isnt just satisfied doing his best efforts to leave his historical mark of existence of this world just by his songs and dancing – he want someone, through his coming descendants to be the living proof that he really existed.. That they are, the descendants and the generations that will make everyone remember him.

… Molestation accusations were just a lie?

It says in the news that Jordy Chandler, the accuser has a history of lying or changing stories, but prior to that, he revealed that molestation accusations were just fabricated, under the influence of his father. And $ 22 million dollars were payed off to them as settlement — What a dirty and evil money can do.

And if anything in this wrongful and lying world remains true — it’s nothing but a HEART. From the start, I believe, in my heart that a kind and gentle person such as MJ, inspite of his imperfections and shortcomings… wouldn’t do such thing. No why’s , questions or whatsoever… In my heart – those were not true. PERIOD.

Neverland : The Late King’s Former Sanctuary

The once grandiose, fanciful Neverland … that was once king’s home  — and apparently became the sanctuary of his deprived childhood was reportedly subjected for foreclosure ; and eventually days after his death, most of the assets inside the property were being sequestered.

Long before his death, it was claimed that the popstar will no longer return to it after claiming that the police officers violated it [his home] during their searches resulting from the series of molestation accusations– that he no longer considered Neverland as his home; thus, the ranch somewhat halted its operations as the staffs were dismissed.

The Neverland – the supposedly his “inner” child’s greatest dream place — had been reported to be a site to where the alleged molestation happened; and eventually, left abandoned.

The controversial rumors and accusations tainted the popstar’s image and questioned his morals; Controversies marred not only his image as personality but his dignity as person as well; He, the king himself couldn’t escape from the world’s judgmental eyes.

Just like any other wonderful stories and fairytales … dreamlike castles and wonderland, Neverland’s doors are now closing as its magic fades away… The enchanting stories have come to an end ~ so is the King’s life story.

It is not Goodbye, The Legacy you left and your Legend lives on… All Hail, King of Pop!

King MJ, you really were a hero to us, you left us the legacy of your music — Music is your magic ; We all laughed, cried, got thrilled, and danced, grew with your music. No price of gold will go on par with the way your music has inspired people of all walks of life in the world.

Your music has taught that it is possible to unite humanity; You were a brilliant proof that regardless of color or race – anyone can make beautiful music and share them to the world to enjoy.

Your great music and brilliant dancing — remains one of the most remarkable symbols of our golden generation.

We, in this generation, have been so blessed, given an opportunity to share with you, a piece of our lives…. a piece of your life … through your amazing songs…

You really touched our lives and maybe, no words can express how YOU moved the world through the power of music…

Inspite of the ordeals and pains you had gone through in your personal life — Man! you did a great job as a musician , as an artist and most of all, as good man… and for this — We are forever grateful.

Farewell to Thee, King! You are Loved.
